Founded in 1988, Cheshire Textiles is a group of contemporary textile artists whose innovative work is diverse in style, scale and inspiration. Members share a passion for the tactile qualities of fabric and stitch and lift it beyond the historical concept of embroidery.

Members meet on a regular basis in Knutsford, offering discussion, support and the opportunity to exhibit as a group. Some members also exhibit independently and play an active role in education.
