"My work has been based on drawings and photographs taken whilst on holiday.  Spain and Italy have particularly fascinated me, with the lovely colours in the crumbling paintwork, the pattern of windows and doors.  Domestic objects around the home are another source for my designs.   I love colour, and use it with pattern and textures to express my impressions of what I've seen and enjoyed"
